piCture pOlish Festival over Oh My Gosh Cobalt Blue

Hejsan! Idag ska ni få se vad jag burit i veckan. Det ena lacket har jag haft typ hur länge som helst, eller åtminstone i några år. Här har ni piCture pOlish Festival över Oh My Gosh (som är Gosh minilack) Cobalt Blue!

Jag kunde inte fota i min lilla studio, för flakiesen i Festival syntes typ ingenting. Så jag väntade till dagen efter, och fotade i molnigt dagsljus.
Ja, Festival från piCture pOlish är ett flakielack med flakies i olika färger, så som rödorange, gulgrön, blågrön, grön. När man vinklar naglarna tycker jag att det ser ut som flakiesen går mot grönt och turkost.
Festival har en grumlig bas, men den är alltså klar på nageln. Det är en väldigt bra formula på lacket, men jag tycker att det blir för lite flakies på ett lager, så jag har två.

Oh My Gosh är alltså namnet på Gosh minilack. Den här flaskan har jag haft åtminstone sen 2009 tror jag. Jag minns första gången jag använde det och hade ingen aning om vad ett jellylack var. Jag målade säkert fem lager, men jag var inte missnöjd med det ändå för jag tyckte att färgen var helt fantastisk. Det tycker jag fortfarande! Sist jag använde den tyckte jag att den blev väldigt streaky minns jag, men nu gick det alldeles utmärkt att måla med. Så det finns alltså en stor risk att min flaska har ändrats i formulan, eftersom jag använt två lager här och det ser jättebra ut, precis som en jelly ska göra. Sist tror jag att jag använde tre lager.
Nåväl! Cobalt Blue är ett blått jellylack som har en helt underbar färg. Jag gillar det massor, och kommer antagligen behöva köpa en till flaska. Speciellt eftersom jag ska göra mig av med Revlon Royal (eftersom Revlon inte är cruelty free) och detta är det närmsta jag kan komma, vad jag vet.

Hello! Today you'll see what I wore this week. I've owned one of these polishes for a really long time, or at least for a couple of years. Here you have piCture pOlish Festival over Oh My Gosh (which is Gosh mini polishes) Cobalt Blue!

I couldn't use my little photostudio when I took these pictures, 'cause the flakies didn't show at all. So I waited to the next day and photographed in cloudy daylight.
Yes, Festival by piCture pOlish is a flakie polish with flakies in different colors, like reddish orange, yellowish green, blueish green and green. When you tilt the nails I think that the flakies shift to green and turquoise.
Festival has a cloudy base, but it is clear on the nail. Very good formula on this polish, but I think that you don't get enough flakies in one coat, so I applied two.

Oh My Gosh is the name of Gosh mini polishes. I've had this bottle since 2009 I think. I remember the first time I used it and I had no idea what a jelly polish was. I applied like five coats, but I wasn't dissapointed 'cause I thought that the color was amazing. I still do! Last time I used it I thought that it was really streaky, but this time the were no problems at all. So there's a big chance that the formula in my bottle has changed, since I used two coats here and it looks really good, just like a jelly should look. Last time I think I used three coats.
Anyhow! Cobalt Blue is a blue jelly with a totally gorgeous color. I like it alot, and I think I need to get another bottle of this. Specially since I'm going to get rid of Revlon Royal ('cause Revlon is not cruelty free), and this is the closest I can get, what I know.

What you see is two coats of Cobalt, two coats of Festival and one coat of Poshé.

31DC2013 Day 19: Galaxies

Ja, det brukar bli rätt sena inlägg från mig. Jag är en kvällsmänniska, och då blir det lätt så. Jag är dessutom ganska dålig på att planera så jag får alltid sitta här på kvällen och stressa med lackningen så jag får upp inlägget rätt dag. Eller jag är faktiskt ganska bra på att planera, men jag är dålig på att följa planeringen.
Idag är det galaxer i mina braxer! Eller på mina naglar iallafall.

Första gången jag gör galaxnaglar. Jag är nöjd! Men självkritiska Martina kommer ju gärna och säger sitt. För många prickar, och för stora prickar. Och stjärnor. Men jag är ändå nöjd! Fler galaxer kommer det bli i framtiden, vill jag lova.
Det finns miljoner galaxtutorials på youtube, men bara för att jag tycker om er så mycket ska jag berätta hur just jag gjorde! Jag började med två lager Isadora Spellbound Black, som är ett svart lack med blått skimmer. Eller jag kan nästan svära på att skimret är lite duokromatiskt, jag tycker att det skiftar från blått till blågrönt.
Därefter rev jag en make up svamp i små bitar och använde en att svampa vitt lite oregelbundet på naglnarna, med hjälp av en pincett. Jag gjorde samma procedur med Isadora Baby Blue, piCture pOlish Attitude och a England Saint George. Sen målade jag lite stjärnor och gjorde prickar med en tandpetare. Topplack och klart!


Yes, I'm getting used to publish my posts pretty late. I'm an evening person, so it just happens, I guess. I'm pretty bad at planing things, so I'm always sitting here in the evening and hurry up so I can blog on the right day. Or, actually I'm pretty good at planing things, I'm just not good at following the plans.
Today it's time for galaxies!

This is the first time I'm doing galaxy nails. I'm happy with them! But self-critical Martina likes to have a word. To many dots, and to big dots. And stars. But I am happy with it! More galaxies in the future, I promise.
There's probably a milion galaxy tutorials on youtube, but just because it's you I will tell you how I did mine! I started with two coats of Isadora Spellbound Black, which is a black polish with blue shimmer. Or I can almost swear that the shimmer is duochrome, I think it looks like it's shifting from blue to bluegreen.
After that I ripped a make up sponge to tiny pieces and used one to sponge white randomly on my nails with the help of a tweezer. Then I did the same thing with Isadora Baby Blue, piCture pOlish Attitude and a England Saint George. Then I painted some stars and did the dots with a toothpick. Topcoat and done!

Woah, vad mycket bättre ljus min nya lampa ger! Dessa bilderna var ju inte alls så fina som jag mindes dom.
Attitude är ett fantastiskt lack. Åh, så vackert! Det är lila, med holografiska flecks. De är platta så de ger ingen ojämn yta. Fantastisk formula och så, ursäkta mig, jävla jävla fan snyggt!

Hi nail polish freaks! I'll keep it short today, 'cause I'm watching Maria and Mindy with my mother. Haha!

Woah, my new lamp gives so much better light than this! These pictures doesn't look as pretty as I remember them.
Attitude is a fantastic polish. Oh, how beautiful! It's purple with holographic flecks. The flecks are flat so they don't make the polish uneven.
Fantastic formula and so, excuse me, fucking beautiful!
