Hi guys! Gotta keep it short today. I have a lot of stuff to do!
Today it's day 26 and the theme is inspired by a pattern. Take a look!

So my inspiration for this manicure was a piece of gift wrapping paper with a cute pink and green flower-ish pattern. I didn't use the exact same shades as the paper, 'cause I didn't want to copy the pattern right of. That's why I did two big flower-ish thingies on mt middle finger and my pointer.
For this manicure I used butter LONDON Trout Pout as a base and I used LVX Orchid for the other pink parts. The green parts is Holly-Day and Budding Romance, both from China Glaze.

Hi there! I didn't publish any post yesterday. I was packing and preparing for my first week as an intern at a company in Malmö. Christina (Passionate About Polish, instagram: @cilp) invited me to live with her. How fun!
Today is day 14 and the theme is flowers. Take a look!

So, this was a fast and easy manicure. The base is Ciaté Headliner in two coats and then I stamped a rose pattern from Bundle Monster BM-323 using China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans.
It's not a super fun manicure, but it's quite simple and clean. I like it!

Hello cuties! Here I am, late as always! ;)
Today is day 12 for me. The theme is stripes!

I'm really happy with these nails! Seriously, I did a great job!
The base is a light sea foam green shimmer by China Glaze and it's called Keep Calm, Paint On. I love this polish. It's delicate and pretty and clean and cool at the same time. It's perfect! I've used it before in a couple of manicures, like this one, and I just love it.
I freehanded the stripes with a striping brush and these are the colors I used:

Hello there sweeties! Sorry for not posting yesterday. I did write a post telling you that I didn't have time to post for day 4, but somehow that post disappeared. I wrote it on my phone though, so maybe that's why.
Today it's my fathers birthday so I've been celebrating him a little bit. We ate ice cream, noms! That's why I'm posting so late today. I thought I could publish two posts today, but I can't, It's too late. So now I'm three days late on this challenge! GREAT SUCCESS! Nah, it doesn't really matter as long as I'm having fun.
These are the nails for day 4, which is green!

So! For this manicure I used China Glaze Pelican Gray as my base and brown acrylic paint for my tree. I painted the trunk and the branches with a nail art brush. Then I made a shitload of leafs with a dotting tool using China Glaze Cha Cha Cha, Holly-Day and Running In Circles. Three BEAUTIFUL green polishes. Seriously, if you don't have them in your stash, you might wanna do some shopping.
I finished the design with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Nail Art - Hurula Inspired

Hello there! So, I disappeared again. Me and my boyfriend broke up, and I needed some time for myself. I'm alright though! It's time for me to figure out what I wanna do with my life, who I am and stuff like that. Get to know myself better. 'Cause I realized that I really don't know myself that well.
Anyway! Today I have another music festival nail art for you. These are the nails that I wore at Malmöfestivalen two weeks ago. They're inspired by the album cover for "Vi är människorna våra föräldrar varnade oss för" (translation: We are the people our parents warned us about) by Hurula.

I started with painting my thumb and pointer in Essence Ultimate Pink and the rest of my nails with China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, two coats of each. Then I covered half of my nail on my middle finger with a piece of tape and painted the other half pink, removed the tape and waited for it to dry.
Then I painted the logo with Nordic Cap NP13 and a small nail art brush and sealed all my nails with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I actually got to show my nails to Hurula and his band, and the next day he shared a picture of them on his Facebook page. That made me really happy!

Idag tänker jag bara visa en bild. Jag var inte speciellt nöjd med de andra bilderna, så jag kände att jag struntar i att publicera dom. Det är Lavendairy från Lime Crime!

Woopsie, det verkar som att blogger bråkar med min enda bild. Hoppas inte!
Nåväl. Lime Crime är ett märke som jag blev lite smått förälskad i när jag upptäckte det, främst på grund av enhörningar och sådär. Det kändes iallafall viktigt att ha alla lacken i deras första nagellackskollektion Les Desserts d'Antoinette, men det var inte förrän i September som jag fick mitt första lack från Lime Crime. I början av året köpte jag de resterande 4 som jag saknade, så nu har jag allihopa!
Lavendairy är ett lila krämlack. Det är en ganska intensiv lila, som ändå är pastellig. Jag har ingen aning om det är en rödtonad lila, eller blåtonad. Men, den här typen av lila får gärna mina fingrar att se röda ut (speciellt mitt ärriga nagelband på långfingret).
Formulan var iallafall väldigt bra, väldigt enkel att måla med.
Två lager plus ett lager Glisten & Glow HK Girl topplack.

Anyway. Lime Crime is a brand that I fell in love with a little bit when I discovered them, mostly because of unicorns and such. It felt important to own all the polishes in their first nail polish collection Les Desserts d'Antoinette, but it wasn't until September last year that I got my first Lime Crime polish. In the beginning of the year I bought the remaining 4 that I was missing, so now I have them all!
Lavendairy is a purple/lilac creme polish. It's a quite intensive purple/lilac, but it's pastel-ish at the same time. I have no idea if it's red based or blue based. But, this shade of purple makes my fingers look a bit red (especially my scared cuticle on my middle finger).
The formula was really good, very easy to apply.
Two coats plus one coat Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Hej! Hur har ni det? Jag började min praktik igår och har det bra. De är väldigt snälla mot mig på företaget där jag praktiserar. Dock har jag längre dagar än vad jag numera är van vid, vilket märks nu i början. Jag är trött och förstår inte alls hur jag ska hinna med att få saker gjorda.

Idag tar jag mig tid att skriva ett blogginlägg iallafall, woho! Jag vill visa er en väldigt vårig manikyr jag bar för en sisådär en till två veckor sedan. Jag har äntligen lyckats få till en hyfsad stamping med mina Moyou London plattor jag vann i en giveaway som Ooohshinies höll. Ta en titt!


Hi! How are you? I started my intership yesterday and it's good. They are very nice to me at the company where I have my intership. I have longer days than I'm used to though, which is noticeable now in the beginning. I am tired and I cannot figure out how I will get time to get things done.

Today I atleast took time to write a blogpost, woho! I want to show you a very spring-ish manicure that I wore about one to two weeks ago. I finally managed to do a decent stamping with my Moyou plates that I won in a giveaway that Ooohshinies hosted. Take a look!

Den fantastiska gula jag har använt som bas är Crema De Limón från Lime Crime. Den är väldigt fin tycker jag. En gul kräm som påminner om citroner och smör. Formulan är helt okej, inget jag vill skryta med men jag upplevde inga större problem. Jag tycker att den är lite streaky, så att säga, och jag behövde tre lager innan jag var nöjd.

Mönstret kommer från Moyou Suki Collection Plate 01 som är en platta fylld som ett konstverk med stämpelmönster (klicka här så får ni se!) och jag har valt att använda delarna med körsbärsblommor och fåglar. Jag har stämplat med Depend 223 och Konads dubbelsidiga "firm stamper".

Prickarna och ringfingret är gjorda efter jag topplackat de andra naglarna. Jag använde Zoya Dhara (tack så hemskt mycket Karin!) som är ett av deras pixiedust lack, ett glittrigt lack med textur. Och hur vackert är den här orangea gnistrande skönheten? Jag dör lite. Så vackert!
Formulan är precis lika awesome som Zoya brukar vara, jag har två lager över det gula, för att jag var för lat för att ta bort det.

The amazing yellow that I used as a base is Crema De Limón by Lime Crime. I think it's really pretty. A yellow creme that reminds me of lemons and butter. The formula is nothing to brag about, but I didn't have any major problems. I do think it is a bit streaky, and I needed three coats to be satisfied.

The pattern is from Moyou Suki Collection Plate 01 which is a plate filled like an artwork with stamping patterns (click here and you'll see!) and I chose to use the parts with cherry blossoms and birds. I stamped with Depend 223 and Konad dubble ended firm stamper.

The dots and the ringfingers where made after I topcoated the other nails. I used Zoya Dhara (thank you so much Karin!) which is one of their pixiedust polished, a glitter polish with texture. And how gorgeous isn't this orange sparkling beauty? I'm dying a little. So beautiful!
The formula was as awesome as Zoya use to be, I have two coats over the yellow, just because I was too lazy to remove it.

I used KBShimmer Clearly On Top as topcoat and OPI Natural Nail Strenghtner as basecoat.

Winter Is Coming Stampicure

Hej allihopa! Jag är ledsen för bristen på inlägg här, men vi har fortfarande inte fått internet. Det fungerar förhoppningsvis nu i veckan.
Jag har haft mycket att göra och jag har precis fått i ordning på mitt rum, så nu har jag äntligen en plats för nail art och fotostudion!
Nu har det helt plötsligt blivit december, och jag har en vintrig manikyr att visa. Ta er en titt!

Det var såhär att jag tänkte börjat med en ny nail art challenge, men det blev inte av. Och då frågade jag min bästis Jennie Lee om inspirationshjälp. Hon föreslog att jag skulle göra något som såg ut som frost, eller sprucken is, eller något liknande. Vi tittade igenom mina stämpelplattor och valde Bundle Monster BM-208.
Jag började med att måla OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls på alla naglar, ett lager på tumme och pekfinger och två på de övriga. Därefter målade jag två lager Winter Is Coming från Smitten Polish på tumme och pekfinger. Winter Is Coming är ett underbart vitt jelly lack med blått glitter i olika storlekar, hexagoner och småttsmått glitter. Jag upplever att lite av glittret är prismatiskt. Det var inga problem med applikationen.

Sedan stämplade jag mönstret med IsaDora Baby Blue på de övriga naglarna. Jag gillar verkligen Baby Blue.

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for the lack of posts here, but we still got no internet. Hopefully it will work this week.
I had a lot to do and I recently finished with organizing my room, so now I finally have a place for nail art and my photostudio!
Suddenly it was december, and I have a winter-ish manicure to show you. Take a look!

I was going to start a new nail art challenge, but it never happened. And I asked my bestie Jennie Lee for help with the inspiration. She suggested that I should do something that looked like frost, or breaking ice, or something like that. We went through my stamping plates and picked Bundle Monster BM-208.
I started with painting my nails with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on every nail, one coat on thumb and pointer and two on the rest. After that I painted two coats of Winter Is Coming by Smitten Polish on my thumb and pointer. Winter Is Coming is a wonderful white jelly polish with blue glitter in different sizes, hexagons and tinytiny glitter. I experience that some of the glitter is prismatic. There where no problems with application.
Then I stamped the pattern with IsaDora Baby Blue on the other nails. I really like Baby Blue.
I think that the result is reallt pretty. Kind of Simple and elegant.
Two coats of topcoat on the glitter nails and one on the rest.

31DC2013 Day 31: Honor nails you love

Hallå! Det här inlägget blev visst en dag sent. Jag kom hem sent igår, och blev inte klar med naglarna förrän efter midnatt. Och då var jag så trött och hade huvudvärk, så jag gick och la mig istället. 

Så! Sista utmaningen är att hedra naglar du älskar. Jag älskar ju hur mycket naglar som helst! Det var svårt att bestämma sig för något, men jag valde tillslut att hedra Chit Chat Nails Skittlette manikyrer. Jag har inspirerats av en manikyr som Marta gjort i två versioner, här har ni ena, och här har ni andra.

Jag har valt att göra en blå version av Martas manikyr eftersom jag gillar att bära blåa lack. 

Jag har två lager Lime Crime Once In A Blue Mousse (tack Sandra!) på pekfinger och tumme. Vilket underbart problemfritt lack! Jag älskar det, och det kommer mest troligt stjäla första platsen som bästa ljusblå från IsaDora Baby Blue. 

På lång och ringfinger har jag två lager OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, och vi vet väl alla vid det här laget hur jäkla underbar detta nästan-vita krämlack är? Perfektion! Jag har stampat mönstret med Bundle Monster plattan BM-201 och Deborah Lippmann Waking Up In Vegas. En av mina favoriter! Hello! Todays post is one day late. I came home late last night and I didn't finish this manicure until past midnight. And by then I was so tired and I had a little bit of headache so I just went straight to bed.

So! The last challenge is to honor nails you love. But I love plenty of nails! It was hard to decide what nails to honor, but I finally decided to honor ChitChatNails Skittlette manicures. I was inspired by a manicure that Marta did in two versions, here's one of them and here's the other one.

I chose to do a blue version of Marta's manicure 'cause I like to wear blue polishes.

I have two coats of Lime Crime Once In A Blue Mousse (thank you Sandra!) on my pointer and thumb. What a wonderful perfect polish! I love it, and it will most likely steal the first place over the best light blue polishes from IsaDora Baby Blue.

On my middle and ringfinger I have two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and we all know by now hoe friggin' amazing this almost-white polish is? Perfection! I have stamped the print with Bundle Monster plate BM-201 and Deborah Lippmann Waking Up In Vegas. One of my favorites! And then I added two light blue rhinestones from bornprettystore on each nail. Use the code QEL91 for 10% off your entire order!

On my pinkie I have one coat of China Glaze First Mate and four coats NYX Girls Turks & Caicos.

I'm happy with these, but I would like some more action on my nails. Do you know what I mean?

31DC2013 Day 27: Inspired by artwork - Angelique Houtkamp

Hej allihop! Vad har ni gjort idag? Jag har gjort naglarna jag visar idag. De tog flera timmar och jag har lite ont i nacke och rygg nu. Nåväl, vad gör man inte för konsten!
Dagens utmaning är att inspireras av ett konstverk. Jag diskuterade med min bästa vän Jennie Lee, eftersom hon är väldigt konstintresserad, om vad jag kunde hitta på. Angelique Houtkamp tyckte hon, och hon hade en bra idé. Och idén blev jäkligt bra på naglarna också!

Så. Jag började med två lager OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons. Därefter freehandade jag alla mönster med Nails Inc Baker Street. Och sen topplack. Jag är sjukt nöjd! Känns inge kul alls att behöva byta lack imorn igen. Haha!

Todays challenge is to be inspired by artwork. I spoke to my best friend Jennie Lee about what I should do today, she is very into art. Angelique Houtkamp was her answer, and she had a good idea. The idea turned out pretty darn good on the nails aswell!

So. I started with two coats of OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons. After that I freehanded the print on all nails with Nails Inc Baker Street. And then topcoat. I'm so happy with these! It won't be fun to change polish tomorrow though. Haha!

31DC2013 Day 13: Animal Print - Giraffe

Tjännaaaa! Hur har ni det? Fredag alltså. Skönt va! Jag hälsar på min pojkvän i helgen, men jag har tagit med mig prylar så jag kan fixa coola naglar ändå. Dessa hann jag dock fota hemma innan jag åkte.
Dagens utmaning är djurmönster. Ganska svårt ändå, för jag ville inte göra något vanligt som zebra, eller leopard eller så. Nu blev det rätt vanligt iallafall. Nåväl!

Giraffmönstrade naglar! Giraffer är förbaskat söta, eller hur?
Jag började med att måla två lager av China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, som är ett gulaktigt krämlack. Jag har ingen aning om vad man kallar den här färgen. Men formulan är bra, och det är ett fint lack tycker jag.
Därefter testade jag att använda två av mina få bruna lack till stamping. Det gick inte. Så jag testade Depend 230 och det gick bättre. Inte superbra, men bättre! Mönstret finns på Bundle Monster BM-313.
Jag blev inte supernöjd med resultatet, men jag tycker nog att det är en bra tanke iallafall.



Heeelloooo! How are you doing? Friday huh. Nice! I'm visiting my boyfriend this weekend, but I've brought some stuff so I can fix some pretty cool nails anyway. I had time to take these pictures at home though.
The challenge for today is animal print. Quite hard actually, 'cause I didn't want to do anything ordinary like zebra or leopard. It came out kinda ordinary anyway.

Giraffe print nails! Giraffes are so damn cute, right?
I started with painting two coats of China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, which is a yellow-ish creme polish. I have no idea how to describe this color. But the formula is good and it is a pretty polish.
After that I tried to use two of my few brown polishes for stamping. It did not work. So I tested Depend 230 and it worked better. Not supergood, but better! The print is from Bundle Monster BM-313.
I'm not superhappy with the result, but I think it was a good idea after all.

31DC2013 Day 11: Polka Dot Nails

Hej vänner! Jag har sjukt mycket att göra idag så jag hinner knappt blogga. Det är ju galet vad lite tid det är på dygnet. 24 timmar? Humpf! Vem kom på det där egentligen?
Idag är det prickar, så prickarna jag har gjort passar hos Karins gröna onsdag!

Här är inspirationsbilden!
Basen är Nordic Cap NP13, och jag har gjort prickarna med Depend 199, Lime Crime Pastelchio (tack Maria!) och Ciaté Mojito. Självaste prickarna är lite färgstarkare i verkligheten.

31DC2013 Day 10: Gradient - Glitter And Grey

Hallå kära läsare! Håller mig rätt kort idag. Idag är det gradient på schemat, så jag gjorde både en "vanlig" gradient och en glittergradient över.

Det ni ser är en gradient med Nordic Cap NP12 och ett av mina favoritlack Deborah Lippmann Waking Up In Vegas med en glittergradient av Impala Disco Ball över. Disco Ball är en dupe av China Glaze Techno.


Hello dear readers! I'll keep it short today. Today it's gradient nails on the schedule, so I did a "regular" gradient and a glitter gradient on top.

What you see is a gradient with Nordic Cap NP12 and one of my favorite polishes Deborah Lippmann Waking Up In Vegas with Impala Disco Ball as a glitter gradient on top. Disco Ball is a dupe of China Glaze Techno.

31DC2013 Day 9: Rainbow - Funky Pastel French

Regnbågar! Är inte regnbågar magiska? Jag älskar regnbågar. Idag har jag gjort en som är i helt fel ordning. Det skulle jag aldrig gjort, om det inte var så att jag helt enkelt kopierade min astuffa tisha.

Förresten så tänkte jag bara tillägga att den här challengen är förmodligen bland det bästa jag gjort i min bloggkarriär. Jag hinner ju faktiskt blogga varje dag, även om jag stressar ihjäl mig ibland. Men jag lär mig att planera in bloggen och lackandet i vardagen på ett bättre sätt än jag gjort tidigare. Och responsen jag fått av er! Ni är fantastiska!

Bild på tishan finner ni längst ned i inlägget!
Basen här är Berlin There Done That från OPI. Jag upplever den som något gråare i verkligheten, inte riktigt så brun. Det hade varit konstigt om den var så brun eftersom tishan är grå. Den är enkel att måla med och täcker bra på två lager. Precis som det ska vara!
Jag har freehandat regnbågarna och eftersom det känns onödigt att skriva en lista på färg - lack på både svenska och engelska får ni läsa en engelsk lista under den engelska texten.


Rainbows! Isn't rainbows magical? I love rainbows. Today I've done a rainbow with the colors in the wrong order. I would never have done that, if I didn't copy my supercool tshirt.

By the way, I just wanted to tell you that this challenge probably is the best thing I've done in my entire blogging career. I do have time to post everyday, even though I get superstressed some days. But I'm learning to plan when I should write and paint my nails in my everyday life better than I've ever done before. And the feedback I've got from you guys! You're amazing! 

The base here is Berlin There Done That by OPI. I feel like it's more grey in real life, not really that brown. It would have been strange if it was brown, 'cause my tshirt is grey. It's easy to apply and covers great in two coats. It should always be like that!

I've freehanded the rainbows with following polishes:
