Second of all; this challenge will last for a lot more than 31 days. Doesn't matter, I love doing this!

Today I've been studying. Yeah. That's all. So let's talk nails instead!
Polka dots for day 11!

I don't like these pictures. They're fine, but they're not good. Just so you know.

The base of this manicure is Nordic Cap NP12 and NP13. Then I used China Glaze First Mate to make the dots on the white nails. I don't know if you can see it, but there's actually a gradient going on in the dots. To get that effect I just mixed First Mate with my white polish and then again with the black polish.
I did the same thing on the black nail but I used Nfu Oh 394 instead.
Then I put a fimo bow on my middle and my ring finger, and a square stud on the other nails.
Finished with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

Hello there sweeties! Sorry for not posting yesterday. I did write a post telling you that I didn't have time to post for day 4, but somehow that post disappeared. I wrote it on my phone though, so maybe that's why.
Today it's my fathers birthday so I've been celebrating him a little bit. We ate ice cream, noms! That's why I'm posting so late today. I thought I could publish two posts today, but I can't, It's too late. So now I'm three days late on this challenge! GREAT SUCCESS! Nah, it doesn't really matter as long as I'm having fun.
These are the nails for day 4, which is green!

So! For this manicure I used China Glaze Pelican Gray as my base and brown acrylic paint for my tree. I painted the trunk and the branches with a nail art brush. Then I made a shitload of leafs with a dotting tool using China Glaze Cha Cha Cha, Holly-Day and Running In Circles. Three BEAUTIFUL green polishes. Seriously, if you don't have them in your stash, you might wanna do some shopping.
I finished the design with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Oh, hi there! What a wonderful day, am I right? I'm pretty tired though, but still.
I'm still behind on the 31 days challenge, but I hope I can catch up during the weekend. Today is my second day, which means ORANGE NAILS! I love orange. You probably already knew that. It's not that hard to guess.

So, my camera completely hates bright colors like the ones I used today. I can never capture the true brightness in these polishes. Believe me, I've tried.
Today I used Lime Crime Peaches ♥ Cream as my base. It's a bright pastel orange that covers in two coats. Unfortunately my pictures doesn't capture the shade correctly either, but I've tried to adjust the photos in Photoshop. Still not completely accurate though.
ANYWAY. Then I made dotted circles with a dotting tool using China Glaze Papaya Punch, Models Own Beach Party and OPI Brights Power.

I really like how this turned out! I'm starving now so I'm going to eat some soup! See you tomorrow babes!

Hej sötisar! Idag ska jag visa er något spännande! En dag satt jag och klickade runt på youtube och snubblade över en helt fantastisk kanal. Så jag gjorde det enda rätta och följde en av de fantastiska tutorialsen på kanalen. Ni borde alla spana in ProfessionalDQ på youtube (och instagram!). Vill ni veta varför? Jo, för att hon är drottningen över enhörningar, äter regnbågar och bajsar cupcakes. Japp.
Det kanske vore smartare att äta cupcakesen? Jo, men hur unikt skulle det vara? Inte så mycket.

Hi cuties! Today I will show you something exciting! One day I was clicking around on youtube and stumbled over a fabulous channel. So I did the only right thing and followed one of the amazing tutorials on the channel. You all should check out ProfessionalDQ on youtube (and instagram!). Do you want to know why? Well, she's the queen of all unicorns, eats rainbows and poops cupcakes. Yes.
Maybe it would be smarter to eat the cupcakes? Yeah, but how unique would that be? Not so much.

Naglarna är förresten tillägnade min fina vän Jenna som jag går i skola med. Hon önskade att jag skulle göra regnbågsnaglar och det gjorde jag!

Ja, jag tycker nog att det är bäst att ni tittar på videon jag länkade tidigare, eftersom det var precis så jag gjorde. Jag använde Nordic Cap NP13 som bas, prickarna är China Glaze Pelican Grey och resten är akrylfärg. Och så matt topplack från H&M.

Skitakul att göra faktiskt! Jag har inte använt akryfärg innan, och upptäckte att de jag har är ganska dåliga (åtminstone den vita som ser ut som keso ungefär och fäster inte på lack). Jag kommer definitivt göra mer nail art med akrylfärg. Kul!


The nails are dedicated to my pretty friend Jenna who I go to school with. She asked me to do rainbow nails, so I did!

Yeah, I think you should watch the video that I linked earlier, 'cause that's exactly how I did these. I used Nordic Cap NP13 as a base, the dots are made with China Glaze Pelican Grey and the rest is acrylic paint. And matte top coat from H&M.

So fun to do actually! I haven't used acrylic paint before, and I discovered that the paint I got is pretty bad (at least the white which looks like cottage cheese and doesn't stick to polish). I will definitely do more nail art with acrylic paint! Fun!

31DC2013 Day 11: Polka Dot Nails

Hej vänner! Jag har sjukt mycket att göra idag så jag hinner knappt blogga. Det är ju galet vad lite tid det är på dygnet. 24 timmar? Humpf! Vem kom på det där egentligen?
Idag är det prickar, så prickarna jag har gjort passar hos Karins gröna onsdag!

Här är inspirationsbilden!
Basen är Nordic Cap NP13, och jag har gjort prickarna med Depend 199, Lime Crime Pastelchio (tack Maria!) och Ciaté Mojito. Självaste prickarna är lite färgstarkare i verkligheten.

The base is Nordic Cap NP13, and I've done the dots with Depend 199, Lime Crime Pastelchio (thank you Maria!) and Ciaté Mojito. The dots are more saturated in real life.

31DC2013 Day 7: Black And White - It's a MANIfest!

Idag fyller min pappa år! Grattis papps! Så därför blev inlägget rätt sent idag med.
Dagens utmaning är svart och vitt och jag har velat göra den här manikyren länge nu. Det är nämligen så att Mona la upp en sjukt snygg svartvit manikyr på sin blogg The manifest för ett tag sedan. Jag blev helt kär och beslutade mig för att göra en manikyr inspirerad av Monas!

Personligen tycker jag att Monas naglar är sjukt mycket snyggare än mina. Nåväl! Jag har inte en enda nagel som är likadan som en annan. Jag har använt det svarta Nordic Cap NP12, det vita Nordic Cap NP13, H&M matta topplack och Seche Vite. Det mesta av det matta har jag freehandat dit efteråt, därför är det inte speciellt jämt och snyggt i kanterna. Ser ni vad som är matt och inte? Vad tycker ni?


Today is my fathers birthday! Happy birthday dad! So that's why today's post is a bit late.
The challenge of the day is black and white and I've wanted to do this manicure for a while. Mona posted a gorgeous manicure on her blog The manifest awhile ago, and I fell in love with it. So I decided to do a manicure inspired by Mona!

Personally I think that Monas nails looks much better than mine does. Oh well! I don't have a single nail that looks like another nail. I've used the black Nordic Cap NP12, the white Nordic Cap NP13, H&M Matte topcoat and Seche Vite. I've freehanded most of the matte parts so that's why it's a bit uneven. Can you see what's matte and not? What do you think?
