Hello there cuties! What are you doing? It's Tuesday today and I'm spending some time with Christina and Emelie. We're going to eat some tastey foodz soon, yay nomnom.
Today it's day 18 and the theme is half moons!

My inspiration for this manicure was an outfit that Hayley Williams wore to a show once last year I think. Here's a picture and here's another one.
I started with one coat of Nfu Oh Aqua Base before I put on two coats of Gosh Holographic Hero. Then I used a nail art brush and China Glaze Surfin' For Boys to do the half moon. I love Surfin' For Boys, it's simply amazing.
Really like this manicure!

Oh, hi there! What a wonderful day, am I right? I'm pretty tired though, but still.
I'm still behind on the 31 days challenge, but I hope I can catch up during the weekend. Today is my second day, which means ORANGE NAILS! I love orange. You probably already knew that. It's not that hard to guess.

So, my camera completely hates bright colors like the ones I used today. I can never capture the true brightness in these polishes. Believe me, I've tried.
Today I used Lime Crime Peaches ♥ Cream as my base. It's a bright pastel orange that covers in two coats. Unfortunately my pictures doesn't capture the shade correctly either, but I've tried to adjust the photos in Photoshop. Still not completely accurate though.
ANYWAY. Then I made dotted circles with a dotting tool using China Glaze Papaya Punch, Models Own Beach Party and OPI Brights Power.

I really like how this turned out! I'm starving now so I'm going to eat some soup! See you tomorrow babes!

KBShimmer 24 Carrot Bold

Idag vill jag visa er ett lack jag fick av fina bästa Andrea i födelsedagspresent. Ett alldeles perfekt lack, om ni frågar mig. Det är KBShimmer 24 Carrot Bold!

Friends! What are you doing?
Today I want to show you a polish that I got as a birthdaygift from the best and beautiful Andrea. A perfect polish, if you ask me. It's KBShimmer 24 Carrot Bold!

24 Carrot Bold är ett orange neonlack med flakie-aktigt skimmer i guld-gult. Skimret skiftar dessutom färg lite, mot grönt i vissa ljus och vinklar. Oerhört vackert!
Det torkar matt, och det torkar snabbt, så vill du bära det matt så är det inga problem. Formulan är dessutom riktigt bra, och täcker gör det också. Dock har det den egenskapen som jag upplever att vissa röda, orange och rosa lack har, de gör att det ser ut som att jag har massor av skit under naglarna. Jag har ingen skit under naglarna, men ändå så är det en mörkare rand där nageln är fäst i fingret. Sjukt irriterande.
Därför har jag slängt på typ 3-4 lager, men har du inte det problemet med vissa lack klarar du dig med 2 lager.
På sista bilden har jag dessutom ett lager piCture pOlish Top'n Base Coat.

Jag gillar 24 Carrot Bold! Jag tycker att det är roligt och riktigt fint.


24 Carrot Bold is a orange neon polish with flakie-ish shimmer in golden-yellow. The color of the shimmer shifts in some lights and angles to green. Incredibly beautiful!
It dries matte, and it dries quickly, so if you want to wear it matte there will be no problems. The formula is really good and it covers well. Though it does have a capacity that I feel that some red, orange and pink polishes have, they make it look like I have dirt under my nails. I don't have any dirt under my nails, still there's a dark line where my nail is attached to my finger. So annyoing.
Because of that I put on 3-4 coats, but if you don't have that problem with some polishes, you'll be just fine with 2 coats.
I also have one coat of piCture pOlish Top'n Base Coat on the last picture.

I like 24 Carrot Bold! I think it's fun and really pretty.

31DC2013 Day 12: Stripes - Neon and black

Dag 12. Tolv dagar i rad har jag bloggat nu. Jag känner mig så himla duktig! Det är svårt att hinna med. Jag är sjukt stressad, ganska ofta, men det är värt det! Det är ju trots allt en utmaning, och utmaningar ska vara svåra.
Idag tittar vi på randiga naglar!

Neon är så svårt att fånga på bild. Men ni som vet hur Orly Glowstick och Melt Your Popsicle ser ut kan kanske föreställa er hur neonig gradienten är. Jag började alltså med att göra en gradient över vitt. Därefter tejpade jag med stripingtejp och lackade Nordic Cap NP12 över. Bort med tejp och topplacka.
Enkelt, och snyggt som fasen!


Day 12. I've posted twelve days in a row. It feels so damn good! It is hard to keep up. I'm stressed up most of the time, but it's worth it! After all it is a challenge, and challenges are supposed to be hard.
Today we're watching striped nails!

Neon is so hard to photograph. But if you know how Orly Glowstick and Melt Your Popsicle looks you might be able to imagine how neon-ish the gradient is. I started with the gradient over white. Then I taped the lines with striping tape and painted a coat of Nordic Cap NP12 on top. Take off the tape and topcoat.
Easy and so damn pretty!

China Glaze "Surfin' For Boys"

Jaha, tiden räcker inte till någonting. Jag ska ut på äventyr i helgen så jag kommer inte kunna blogga. Därför slänger jag upp ett arkivinlägg så ni vet att jag lever. Vi hörs nästa vecka igen, jag lovar! Puss och kram!

Här har vi arkivbilder på ett neonlack från China Glaze. Det kom ut i sommarkollektionen Summer Neons förra året, alltså 2012. Surfin' For Boys heter det!

Ett neonlack i korall med skimmer i laxrosa och en hint av guld. Man ser inte guldet på nageln, men det syns i botten på min flaska, eftersom skimret sjunkit till botten. Jag skakade inte min flaska tillräckligt innan, så jag har målat ett lager mer än vad som behövs.
Formulan är bra, kanske lite rinnig. Det torkar självfallet matt, eftersom det är en neon.
Jag gillar detta! Supersnyggt, tycker jag.
Tre lager plus topplack.

Here we have some pictures from the archive with a neon polish by China Glaze. It's a part of the summer collection Summer Neons from last year, which was 2012. It's called Surfin' For Boys!

A coral neon polish with shimmer in salmon pink and a hint of gold. You can't see the gold on the nail, but it's visible in the bottom of my bottle, as the shimmer have sunk to the bottom. I didn't shake my bottle enough before I started applying, so I have one coat more than needed.
The formula was good, maybe a bit runny. It does dry matte, since it is a neon.
I like this! Super nice, I think.
Three coats plus topcoat.

Green Wednesday: Viva La Diva #112

Jag har no nails just nu. De gick av, jag blev arg och ledsen och klippte av dem allesammen. Så därför tänkte jag göra som Cactus och visa er mina lack jag kanske inte väljer i första hand. Ni kommer få se gamla godingar, lite udda märken och kanske en och annan färg jag helt enkelt inte brukar bära. Spännande va?
Så idag tänkte jag vara med på grön onsdag som bästa Karin håller i på hennes blogg Vacker & Underbar, och mitt bidrag är ett av de lacken som jag köpte innan jag blev galen på riktigt. Viva La Diva nummer 112!

När köpte jag det här? 2010 var det! Jag vet inte om jag någonsin burit det på riktigt. Det har aldrig velat torka. Nåväl! Nu använder jag snabbtorkande topplack och då går det bättre.
Vad ni ser är två lager halvfrostig småskimrig nästan-neon i grönt över vita undisar.

I have no nails right now. They were breaking, I was angry and sad and cut them all. So I thought that I could do like Cactus and show you some polishes that I don't wear that much. You will see some old goodies, odd brands and maybe just a color that I do not wear all the time. Exciting huh?
So today I thought that I should participate in Green Wednesday held by Karin at Vacker & Underbar, and my contribution is a polish that I bought before I went crazy. Viva La Diva 112!

When did I buy this? 2010 was the year! I don't know if I actually have worn this for real. It never dried. Oh well! Now I use fast drying topcoat and it works alot better.
What you see is two coats of a half frosty kinda shimmery almost neon in green over white undies.
I won't talk about the formula and stuff like that, 'cause this poor bottle have been through alot.

What did you wear on your claws year 2010? Do you remember?

China Glaze "Yellow Polka Dot Bikini"

Hej allihopa. Mitt i natten. Komplikationer har uppstått. Jag vet inte om jag hinner klart med alfabetet innan årets slut. Jag har nämligen hastigt och lustigt beställt biljetter till Norrköping och ska helt plötsligt fira nyår hemma hos min pojkvän, istället för han hos mig. Så jag åker imorgon.
Jag ska dock redigera bilderna för Z lacket och lägga i ett tomt inlägg så jag bara behöver skriva texten hos Alex. Sen hoppas jag att jag hinner göra en favoritlista och visa nyårs manikyren också. Vi får väl se!
Här har ni Yellow Polka Dot Bikini från China Glaze. Den släpptes i sommarkollektionen Poolside år 2010 och den får mig att nynna på Itsy Bitsy av Lill Babs. Åh, mysig låt!

Det ni ser är en gul neon i två lager över vitt. Det har fått sig ett lager topplack för att det torkar matt, som neoner gör.

Hi everyone. In the middle of the night.There were some complications. I might not be able to finish the alphabet this year as I wanted. I just bought ticets to Norrköping so I will spend New Years Eve at my boyfriends place, instead of him at my place. So I'm going tomorrow morning. I will try to figure it out though.
This is Yellow Polka Dot Bikini by China Glaze. It was released in the summer collection Poolside 2010.

What you see is a yellow neon in two coats over white. I've put on one coat of topcoat 'cause it dries matte, 'cause that's what neons do.

I really need to continue packing now.
