#31DC2014 | Day 26 - Inspired by a pattern

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Hi guys! Gotta keep it short today. I have a lot of stuff to do!
Today it's day 26 and the theme is inspired by a pattern. Take a look!

So my inspiration for this manicure was a piece of gift wrapping paper with a cute pink and green flower-ish pattern. I didn't use the exact same shades as the paper, 'cause I didn't want to copy the pattern right of. That's why I did two big flower-ish thingies on mt middle finger and my pointer.
For this manicure I used butter LONDON Trout Pout as a base and I used LVX Orchid for the other pink parts. The green parts is Holly-Day and Budding Romance, both from China Glaze.

#31DC2014 | Day 19 - Galaxies

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Hi guys! How are you doing? It's Wednesday and it's raining here in Sweden. The weather has been cold and grey all day, typical fall weather.
Wanna see something not so grey and cold? The theme for day 19 is galaxies!

I decided to do colorful, bright and almost a bit pastel-ish galaxies this time. I absolutely LOVE this manicure. I wish I could peel it of in little sheets and save it for later. Yes, that's really gross.

The base of this manicure is two coats of China Glaze Tart-y For The Party. It's a beautiful lilac-ish purple creme with perfect formula. Then I put on one thin coat of Darling Diva Dangerous Driver. I started making the galaxy by sponging OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls randomly on the nails. I continued the sponging with Make Up Store Nicklas, Darling Diva Maxed Out, Glacial Springs and Sparkling Orchid, both from Smitten Polish. I added stars with a tiny dotting tool, a tiny nail art brush and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

Do you like this kind of galaxy or do you prefer more traditional galaxies?

#31DC2014 | Day 18 - Half Moons

Hello there cuties! What are you doing? It's Tuesday today and I'm spending some time with Christina and Emelie. We're going to eat some tastey foodz soon, yay nomnom.
Today it's day 18 and the theme is half moons!

My inspiration for this manicure was an outfit that Hayley Williams wore to a show once last year I think. Here's a picture and here's another one.
I started with one coat of Nfu Oh Aqua Base before I put on two coats of Gosh Holographic Hero. Then I used a nail art brush and China Glaze Surfin' For Boys to do the half moon. I love Surfin' For Boys, it's simply amazing.
Really like this manicure!

#31DC2014 | Day 14 - Flowers

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Hi there! I didn't publish any post yesterday. I was packing and preparing for my first week as an intern at a company in Malmö. Christina (Passionate About Polish, instagram: @cilp) invited me to live with her. How fun!
Today is day 14 and the theme is flowers. Take a look!

So, this was a fast and easy manicure. The base is Ciaté Headliner in two coats and then I stamped a rose pattern from Bundle Monster BM-323 using China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans.
It's not a super fun manicure, but it's quite simple and clean. I like it!

Hope you're having a great Sunday!

Hello cuties! Here I am, late as always! ;)
Today is day 12 for me. The theme is stripes!

I'm really happy with these nails! Seriously, I did a great job!
The base is a light sea foam green shimmer by China Glaze and it's called Keep Calm, Paint On. I love this polish. It's delicate and pretty and clean and cool at the same time. It's perfect! I've used it before in a couple of manicures, like this one, and I just love it.
I freehanded the stripes with a striping brush and these are the colors I used:
OPI Fiercely Fiona
OPI Who The Shrek Are You?
China Glaze Papaya Punch
I♥Layla N.07 (THANK YOU MARIA!)
Cult Nails Riot

I placed two neon orange studs* from Born Pretty Store on the pinkie and the pointer.

#31DC2014 | Day 9 - Rainbow

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Heeeelloooo guys! It's saturday! How fun! I'm going to play some games with my friends. Do you have any plans for this evening?
Today it's day 9 and the theme is rainbow. Check out what I did!

I made some stamping decals with Konad m61, Nordic Cap NP12 and acrylic paint. Unfortunately my acrylic paint is a bit too dark, so I didn't get the look I was aiming for.
The base is Alana Renee It's A Surprise, which is a white shimmer with a yellow tone. Looks pretty white on these pictures though. It's not that white in real life.
The glitter is Worst. Polish. Ever. by Happy Hands. This was also a birthday gift that I got from Ulrika last year. It's not the worst polish ever. It's actually pretty amazing. The applications is flawless! Too bad Happy Hands don't do polishes anymore.

I do like this manicure, even though it didn't turn out the way I wanted. What do you think?

Hello there sweeties! Sorry for not posting yesterday. I did write a post telling you that I didn't have time to post for day 4, but somehow that post disappeared. I wrote it on my phone though, so maybe that's why.
Today it's my fathers birthday so I've been celebrating him a little bit. We ate ice cream, noms! That's why I'm posting so late today. I thought I could publish two posts today, but I can't, It's too late. So now I'm three days late on this challenge! GREAT SUCCESS! Nah, it doesn't really matter as long as I'm having fun.
These are the nails for day 4, which is green!

"I spy something green"
"Tree!"
- Rutt & Tuke, Brother Bear

So! For this manicure I used China Glaze Pelican Gray as my base and brown acrylic paint for my tree. I painted the trunk and the branches with a nail art brush. Then I made a shitload of leafs with a dotting tool using China Glaze Cha Cha Cha, Holly-Day and Running In Circles. Three BEAUTIFUL green polishes. Seriously, if you don't have them in your stash, you might wanna do some shopping.
I finished the design with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

Nail Art - Hurula Inspired

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Hello there! So, I disappeared again. Me and my boyfriend broke up, and I needed some time for myself. I'm alright though! It's time for me to figure out what I wanna do with my life, who I am and stuff like that. Get to know myself better. 'Cause I realized that I really don't know myself that well.
Anyway! Today I have another music festival nail art for you. These are the nails that I wore at Malmöfestivalen two weeks ago. They're inspired by the album cover for "Vi är människorna våra föräldrar varnade oss för" (translation: We are the people our parents warned us about) by Hurula.

I started with painting my thumb and pointer in Essence Ultimate Pink and the rest of my nails with China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, two coats of each. Then I covered half of my nail on my middle finger with a piece of tape and painted the other half pink, removed the tape and waited for it to dry.
Then I painted the logo with Nordic Cap NP13 and a small nail art brush and sealed all my nails with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I actually got to show my nails to Hurula and his band, and the next day he shared a picture of them on his Facebook page. That made me really happy!

This is a link to this album by Hurula on spotify. Listen to it.
I wish all of you could understand the lyrics.
Thanks for watching!

Hi guys! WOW! It's been almost two months since I published the last post. I accidentally took a vacation and I think I needed that. I've missed you though!
So, now I'm back again, and hopefully I can get some really nice blogging routines now. I've had some trouble with that for about a year now maybe. I don't know why, but I always have a lot to do, and the time just flies and I don't manage to do half of the stuff I was supposed to. So to save some time I'll write in English only from now. Hope that's okay with all of my Swedish readers.

Anyway. In the beginning of the summer I went to a music festival! It was fun, but the weather was crazy. Sunny one day, thunder the other. Someone (or maybe more than one) actually got hit by lightning! WHAT! Me and my friends are fine though.
Let me show you the nail art I rocked during the festival!

I started with painting my nails in OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Love that polish. Seriously, I might need to buy another bottle soon!
Then I stamped my pointer and my middle finger using Nordic Cap NP12, Pueen 52 and Born Pretty Store XL stamper*.
I used Make It Stick Design vinyl chevron decals for the gradient chevron nails, and sponged a gradient over using Lime Crime Peaches <3 Cream and Parfait Day. Then I removed the decals and cleaned up around the nails.
My camera hates the Lime Crime polishes, it thinks that they are washed out pastels, not bright friggin almost-neon-pastels.

Everything is topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat

Hej!

Hi! My giveaway is closed now and I have emailed the winners. One of the winners have answered, but I am waiting for an answer from winner numbero two.
Today I thought I would show you the first manicure in yesterdays review. I call it Fancy Riot, 'cause I think it is a bit fancy. What do you think?

Lillfinger: Nfu Oh GS06, China Glaze Nova, Impala Disco Ball.

Fast samtidigt lite tjusiga? Jag tycker det! Jag är helt klart nöjd!

Let's see if I can remember what I used for these. It's been a while since I wore them.
Thumb: Cult Nails Riot, Ciaté Magic Carpet from Mini Mani Month 2012.
Pointer: Gradient with Riot and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, one pink rhinestone.
Middle: MBSW, one big diamond, pearls, blue and silver rhinestones that shifts color a little bit, pink small rhinestones, silver caviar beads and three colorful studs* from Born Pretty Store.
Ring: MBSW, leopard spots in Riot and Nordic Cap NP12.
Pinkie: Nfu Oh GS06, China Glaze Nova, Impala Disco Ball.

Everything is topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I loved these nails. They are edgy and pretty at the same time. Don't they look cool? But still fancy? I think so! I'm definitely satisfied!

NOTE: Not all products from China Glaze and OPI are vegan.

Hej allihopa!

Hi everyone! Today I'm writing a review on a product from Born Pretty Store. They have sent me some nail art stuff, as you know, so I can review it for you. Today I wanna show you some really cool stones/studs/thingies that I was really excited to try.
The manis in this post will get a separate post during this week, so you won't get detailed information about them in this post.

Link to post!
Link to post!

So, I will not talk about these manicures today, but I hope that you'll get excited about upcoming posts!

These little decorations is multichromatic and reminds me a bit of opals, I think. They are friggin gorgeous! And I love them. The ones I've tried are round and 3mm big, but they are available in more sizes and shapes.
The package includes 10 studs in a little plastic bag. So you won't get anything to store them in, but I guess you're supposed to use one for each nail, so you'll use them all at once. But I didn't do that, and that went just fine.

I don't have that much more to say about these studs. They are very beautiful and cool. They're simple to use and easy to attach where you want them.

Summary:
What do I think of the product? I love!
Why do I think that? Because they are really cool.
Would I recommend this product? Yes, absolutely!
Will I buy this product again? I definitely will.

If you eager to buy these studs, you can find them here!

Misa Spaced Out

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Hej allihopa!

Hi everyone! I have something exciting to share with you. We got a cat! She is tiny, incredibly sweet and cute and cozy and her name is Loca. I'll insert a picture (or more) in the end of this post, 'cause I know that everyone loves cats, haha.
Today I thought I would show a polish that I planned to publish during United In Grey, but I didn't have time because of... Yeah, a cat and an amusement park. You will see my only polish from Misa. Here you go!

Men vet ni?

Spaced Out from Misa is a grey polish with tiny particles, shimmer particles actually, which looks grey. They make the polish look a bit like concrete. But you know what? They aren't compleatly grey. In the sun you can see, if you look closely, that they gleam in blue and pink. Unfortunately it's really hard to see.
The formula was good. Maybe a bit runny, but nothing that causes trouble.
Two coats and one coat Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

And this is Loca! And me.

Don't forget my giveaway!

Hi everyone! Oh, it's so fun to read about all of you who have entered my giveaway so far! You have a great taste in music!
I had an exam today, and it feels like it went well. At least I did my best.

Todays post is my first for the theme United In Grey which Helena at Lacky Corner put together to support awareness of brain cancer and brain tumors. Read more about that on her blog!
I participate with a stampicure today!

Review - Born Pretty Store Glow In The Dark Galaxy Nail Decals

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

(spana in deras nya nail art prylar!)

Hello cutie! Today I'm showing you something exciting that was sent to me from Born Pretty Store, nail decals*! It's not just regular nail decals*, it's galaxy decals* that glow in the dark. Yes, you got that right, they glow in the dark! Wanna see? Of course you wanna!
(check out their new nail art stuff!)

Glittrande. galaxer. JA!
Kommer jag köpa produkten igen? Jag är inte helt hundra, men förmodligen!

These decals* comes in 7 sizes, in quite big sizes. I had to cut almost all of them to make them fit my nails. They are incredibly gorgeous when they're attached to the sheet in the packaging and I was really excited to try them. Guess if I was disappointed when I was going to use them and found out that they were almost transparent. Damn, I thought, maybe I should put on some underwear. But I did get them so I could do a review and the back of the packaging didn't say anything about underwear, so I fiddled and attached them on a layer of base coat. And you know what? I actually liked it, despite visible nail line and all that.
They do glow in the dark, really well! The dark parts doesn't glow in the dark though, but that doesn't matter. I think it made them even more pretty in almost-dark lightning, like the last picture.

These decals* is thicker than the ones that I have tried before, and they have a stickier glue. It's hard to replace them if you place one a little bit wrong. The thickness made them crinkle a little bit in the edges, and contract a bit as well. That resulted in some naked tips.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you how well they wear, 'cause I could not resist on picking on them and yeah, I only wore them for a day. You can't remove them with acetone free remover. I don't know how acetone works.

And yeah, they sparkle as well!

Summary:
What do I think of the product? It's sparkling galaxies that glow in the dark, is it possible to not like that?
Why do I think that? SPARKLING GALAXIES THAT GLOW IN THE DARK.
Would I recommend this product? Sparkling. galaxies. YES!
Will I buy this product again? I'm not completely sure, but most likely!

Lime Crime Lavendairy

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Hej!

Hi! Today Today I voted for the European Parliament! It's the first time I'm voting, and I think it's super exciting! Europeans, you're voting, right?
Today I'm only going to show you one picture. I wasn't happy with the other pictures, so I didn't feel like publish them. It's Lavendairy by Lime Crime!

Woopsie, it seems like blogger is fighting with my only picture. Let's hope not!
Anyway. Lime Crime is a brand that I fell in love with a little bit when I discovered them, mostly because of unicorns and such. It felt important to own all the polishes in their first nail polish collection Les Desserts d'Antoinette, but it wasn't until September last year that I got my first Lime Crime polish. In the beginning of the year I bought the remaining 4 that I was missing, so now I have them all!
Lavendairy is a purple/lilac creme polish. It's a quite intensive purple/lilac, but it's pastel-ish at the same time. I have no idea if it's red based or blue based. But, this shade of purple makes my fingers look a bit red (especially my scared cuticle on my middle finger).

The formula was really good, very easy to apply.
Two coats plus one coat Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat.

KBShimmer 24 Carrot Bold

Green is veganBlue is cruelty freePurple might or might not be cruelty freeRed is not cruelty freePlease visit my "Animal Cruelty" page for more information -

Friends! What are you doing?
Today I want to show you a polish that I got as a birthdaygift from the best and beautiful Andrea. A perfect polish, if you ask me. It's KBShimmer 24 Carrot Bold!

24 Carrot Bold is a orange neon polish with flakie-ish shimmer in golden-yellow. The color of the shimmer shifts in some lights and angles to green. Incredibly beautiful!
It dries matte, and it dries quickly, so if you want to wear it matte there will be no problems. The formula is really good and it covers well. Though it does have a capacity that I feel that some red, orange and pink polishes have, they make it look like I have dirt under my nails. I don't have any dirt under my nails, still there's a dark line where my nail is attached to my finger. So annyoing.
Because of that I put on 3-4 coats, but if you don't have that problem with some polishes, you'll be just fine with 2 coats.
I also have one coat of piCture pOlish Top'n Base Coat on the last picture.

I like 24 Carrot Bold! I think it's fun and really pretty.
