Hello there babes! I'll keep it short today. I'm exhausted!
It's day 20 and the theme is water marble!

The inspiration for this marble was peach melba ice cream. My father used to buy peach melba ice cream when I was a teenager and I loved it. You can see a tiny inspiration picture if you click here.

Today I used Sensinity 21 Naranja as my base and then I marbled with China Glaze Seas The Day and Peggy Sage Brilliant top coat. Finally I made some dots to represent the raspberries using Colors by Llarowe MJ's Jacket.

Hi guys! WOW! It's been almost two months since I published the last post. I accidentally took a vacation and I think I needed that. I've missed you though! 
So, now I'm back again, and hopefully I can get some really nice blogging routines now. I've had some trouble with that for about a year now maybe. I don't know why, but I always have a lot to do, and the time just flies and I don't manage to do half of the stuff I was supposed to. So to save some time I'll write in English only from now. Hope that's okay with all of my Swedish readers.

Anyway. In the beginning of the summer I went to a music festival! It was fun, but the weather was crazy. Sunny one day, thunder the other. Someone (or maybe more than one) actually got hit by lightning! WHAT! Me and my friends are fine though.
Let me show you the nail art I rocked during the festival!

I started with painting my nails in OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Love that polish. Seriously, I might need to buy another bottle soon! 
Then I stamped my pointer and my middle finger using Nordic Cap NP12, Pueen 52 and Born Pretty Store XL stamper*.
I used Make It Stick Design vinyl chevron decals for the gradient chevron nails, and sponged a gradient over using Lime Crime Peaches <3 Cream and Parfait Day. Then I removed the decals and cleaned up around the nails.
My camera hates the Lime Crime polishes, it thinks that they are washed out pastels, not bright friggin almost-neon-pastels. 

Everything is topped with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat. 

31DC2013 Day 17: Glitter Nails - Rainbows And Patrick

Ojoj, det blev senare än väntat. Vi kör på va?
Idag är det alltså glitter!

Två lager Rescue Beauty Lounge Starfish Patrick, en jelly som är ganska opak av sig, som ni ser. Mer som en crelly kanske. Men den är mer rosa än vad bilderna visar.
Och så tre lager OPI Rainbow Connection på ring och tumme. Och gradient på resten.
Jag älskar lacken, av förklarliga anledningar. Regnbågar och Svampbob <3

Today it's glitter!

Two coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge Starfish Patrick, a kind of opaque jelly, as you can see. More like a crelly maybe. It's more pink than the pictures shows.
And three coats OPI Rainbow Connection on ring and thumb. And gradient on the rest.
I love these polishes,  for obvious reasons. Rainbows and Spongebob <3

China Glaze "Surfin' For Boys"

Jaha, tiden räcker inte till någonting. Jag ska ut på äventyr i helgen så jag kommer inte kunna blogga. Därför slänger jag upp ett arkivinlägg så ni vet att jag lever. Vi hörs nästa vecka igen, jag lovar! Puss och kram!

Här har vi arkivbilder på ett neonlack från China Glaze. Det kom ut i sommarkollektionen Summer Neons förra året, alltså 2012. Surfin' For Boys heter det!

Ett neonlack i korall med skimmer i laxrosa och en hint av guld. Man ser inte guldet på nageln, men det syns i botten på min flaska, eftersom skimret sjunkit till botten. Jag skakade inte min flaska tillräckligt innan, så jag har målat ett lager mer än vad som behövs.
Formulan är bra, kanske lite rinnig. Det torkar självfallet matt, eftersom det är en neon.
Jag gillar detta! Supersnyggt, tycker jag.

Here we have some pictures from the archive with a neon polish by China Glaze. It's a part of the summer collection Summer Neons from last year, which was 2012. It's called Surfin' For Boys!

A coral neon polish with shimmer in salmon pink and a hint of gold. You can't see the gold on the nail, but it's visible in the bottom of my bottle, as the shimmer have sunk to the bottom. I didn't shake my bottle enough before I started applying, so I have one coat more than needed.
The formula was good, maybe a bit runny. It does dry matte, since it is a neon.
I like this! Super nice, I think.
Three coats plus topcoat.

Sensinity 21 "Naranja"

Min förkylning är helt galen. Jag hostade tills jag spydde imorse och jag har lock för höger öra som suttit i sedan typ torsdags. Men annars mår jag rätt bra faktiskt.
Ja, ska vi snacka lack istället? Det här är ett ganska roligt märke, Sensinity, som gör 7ml doftlack för inte överdrivet mycket pengar. Vad är det som är roligt med det då? Jo, någon dag efter att jag köpte detta berättade Jenna, min bästis, för mig att hon försökt kolla upp märket lite. Vad hade hon upptäckt? Att Sensinity minsann tillverkar kondomer. Jaha, kondomlack alltså, vad roligt! Här är nummer 21 som ska lukta Naranja, vilket betyder apelsin.

Jag tänker kalla det för Naranja, för det är ju roligare är 21. Så. Naranja är ett pastellorange/persikofärgat krämlack som stinker konstgjord syrlig apelsin det första dygnet. Det är lite strimmigt, men jag har andra planer för det här, så jag struntade i det. Annars var formulan bra, och jag hade inga problem med varken applicering eller torktid.

Två lager och topplack.



My cold is crazy. I coughed until I puked this morning and I almost can't hear anything om my right ear. Other than that, I feel pretty good.
Are we going to talk polish, yeah? This is a quite fun brand, Sensinity, which makes scented polish in 7ml bottles for not that much money. What's so fun about them? Well, a day or two after I bought this bottle my bestie Jenna told me that she had looked up the brand. What did she found out? That Sensinity makes condoms. Yes, a condom polish, how fun! This is number 21 and it smells like Naranja, which means orange.

I am going to call this Naranja, 'cause it is a lot more fun than 21. So. Naranja is a pastel orange/peachy colored creme polish which stinks artificial sour orange the first 24h. It's a bit streaky, but I got some planes for this, so I didn't care. Otherwise, the formula was good and I did not have any trouble with application or drying time.

Jelly Sandwich "Peachy Pirouette"

Hej hörrrrreeeniii! Idag har jag varit hemma från jobbet. Jag har sovit ungefär en halvtimma i natt, så jag kände att det var bäst att vara hemma. Jag menar, det är ju inte speciellt kul om man skulle slumra till när man städar en toalett!
Nåväl, här kommer en manikyr som får representera bokstaven P. Skönt, snart är jag klar med alfabetet.
Här är en jelly sandwich med Sally Hanses Peach Daiquiri med OPI Pirouette My Whistle som fyllning, så att säga.

Åh, hur många lager var det nu igen? Jag tror jag började med två, kanske till och med tre, lager Peach Daiquiri, ett lager Pirouette My Whistle och till sist ett lager Peach Daiquiri till. Och Seche Vite då.
Ni får ursäkta alltså, men jag orkar inte skriva mer just nu. Trött tjej är trött.

Hi guuuuyyys! I've been home from work today. I've only slept for like 30 minutes last night, so I thought that it was better to stay home. I mean, it wouldn't be that fun to fall asleep while I clean a toilet!
Oh well, here's a manicure that represents the letter P. Pwuh, soon I'm done with this alphabet.
Here's a jelly sandwich with Sally Hanses Peach Daiquiri and OPI Pirouette My Whistle as filling, so to say.

Oh, how many layers was it again? I think I started with two, maybe even three, coats of Peach Daiquiri, one coat of Pirouette My Whistle and lastly another coat of Peach Daiquiri. And Seche Vite.
You'll have to excuse me, but I don't have the energy to write more right now. Tired girl is tired.

ORLY "Emberstone"

Är ni här nu igen era nagellacksfreak? Hihi. Detta är ett tidsinställt inlägg som jag skrev igår, för vet ni? Idag fyller jag år. 20 hela år! Och detta nagellack bär jag idag, bokstaven E. Emberstone från ORLY.

Så, här har vi Emberstone. Jag köpte denna goding av Solveig som har bloggen Nailin' It. Hon har/hade blogsale och jag fyndade hela 15 nagellack, bland annat Emberstone.
Emberstone är ett jättefint lack från ORLY's höstkollektion Mineral FX från 2011. Det kan se orange ut, men det är det inte. Inte bara orange iallafall, för det är fullt av rosa och guldiga partiklar som gör att lacket gnistrar i solsken. Eller jag har faktiskt inte sett det i solsken, men i dagsljus, och då gnistrade det.
Annars, när det inte har dagsljus, ser det ut som ett skimrigt korallfärgat lack. Fortfarande fint!
Jag har tre lager på bilderna, och det var inga problem med applikationen.

Are you here again nail polish freaks? Hihi. This is a timed post that I wrote yesterday, 'cause you know what? Today is my birthday. Today I'm turning 20 years old. And this is the polish that I'm wearing, the letter E. This is Emberstone by ORLY.

I bought Emberstone from Solveig who has the blog Nailin' It. She holds/held a blogsale and I bought 15 polishes from her, included Emberstone.
Emberstone is a pretty pretty polish from ORLY's 2011 fall collection Mineral FX. It kind of looks orange, but it's not. Not only orange anyway, 'cause it's packed with pink and golden particles, which makes the polish sparkle in the sun. But, I haven't seen it in the sun, I have only seen it in daylight and it sparkled.
Well, when it doesn't have daylight, it only looks like a shimmery coral colored polish. Still pretty though!
I'm wearing three coats on these pictures and the application was flawless.
