Hi guys! What's up? It's a new week, do you have any special plans?
It's day 25 in the 31 day challenge and the theme is inspired by fashion. Can you guess my inspiration for this manicure? (I'm pretty sure you can.)

If you guessed Hayley Williams you were totally right.
I've already told you how much I admire Hayley Williams, her style and the fact that she doesn't give a crap about what people think about it, so I'll just tell you about the manicure. Hope that's alright with you! Otherwise you can just use the search function and type in "Hayley Williams" and I'm sure you'll have plenty to read.

So, I used three base polishes fot this manicure. The black is Liquid Leather from China Glaze, the red is London from Mavala and the grey is from Nordic Cap. I'm still researching if Nordic Cap is cruelty free or not, but I do know that they're made in China, so keep that in mind.
Then I stamped a pattern using plate QA98 from Born Pretty Store and China Glaze Holly-Day. I used a striping brush and OPI Don't touch my tutu! to make the light parts. I used a striping brush and Liquid Leather to make the black parts on the grey nails.
Finally I put on some studs and top coat. On the thumb I also made a silver stripe between the red and the black parts.

Gina Tricot Beauty "Petrol"

Jag hade en liten swatchfest i helgen. Jag swatchade för glatta livet, vilket jag aldrig gör annars. Men jag har varit så dålig på att fota lacken jag burit det sista att jag tänkte ta igen och fota just dom lacken. Detta bar jag dock inte nyligen, och jag har visat det förr. Men det inlägget var så himla hemskt att jag tog bort det.

Ja, jag vet. Color corrected igen. Min kamera tyckte att Petrol var blå. Jag har försökt redigera fram färgen lite, men ja. Jag skulle vilja säga att det ska vara en droppe mer mörkgrönt i, sen är det nog rätt färg. Den är alltså mer turkos, eller teal kanske.

Detta var ett av lacken som fick mig att älska Gina Tricots lack. Det var ett av de första de släppte. Ser ni den matta korken? Den byttes ut till glansig kork rätt snabbt. Formulan tycker jag är helt perfekt.

I had a little swatchfest this weekend. I swatched like crazy, which I never do otherwise. But I've been really bad at taking pics of the polishes that I'm wearing lately so I thought that I'll just catch up on that. I didn't wear this polish lately though, and I have showed it before. But that post was so bad that I deleted it.
I'm talking about Petrol by Gina Tricot!

Yes, I know. Color corrected again. My camera thought that Petrol was blue. I tried to edit the color so it would match reality, but yeah. I would say that it has one more little drop of dark green in it, and then it will accurate. It's more like a turquoise, or teal maybe.
This was one of the polishes that made me fall in love with the Gina Tricot polishes. It was one of the first that they released. Do you see the matte cork? It was changed to the shiny one later. The formula is, according to me, pure perfection.
One coat plus topcoat.

Det här är gammalt som gatan. Jag vet inte hur gammalt för jag fick det av en vän. Då var det långt ifrån användbart, men jag köpte thinner och ungefär 2½ pipetter senare går det att måla med. Det är lite segt fortfarande. Nog om det! Zenith är ett lila lack med massor av blått skimmer. Så mycket att det ser duokromt ut. Jag skulle dock inte kalla det för duokromt, för skimret ser ut att ligga ovanpå lacket istället för att blanda sig i basen, så att säga.

Nåja, jag trivdes inte alls i lacket så jag tog bort det innan det torkade.

I made it! I finally made it! This is the last polish in the alphabet-trip, Zenith by Rimmel.

This is old, really old. I don't know how old though, 'cause I got it from a friend. When I got it, it was not usable at all, but I bought some thinner and now you can apply it. It still is thick though. Anyway! Zenith is a purple polish with lots of blue shimmer. So much shimmer that it looks duochrome. I wouldn't call it duochrome though, 'cause it looks like the shimmer lies on top of the polish and not blended in the base, so to say.
Oh well, I didn't like this polish so I removed it before it dried.

X-mas manicure

Hej allihopa! Idag är det julafton, och blå måndag! Blå julaftonsmåndag. Det är min första blå måndag. Mitt bidrag är dagens manikyr, som därför också är bokstaven X, X som i X-mas. Yep! Här har ni Star Trek från Rimmel, med två små stjärnor/blommor/snöflingor på ringfingret.

Star Trek köpte jag billigt på tradera, mest för att min pojkvän skulle bli så himla glad. Jag blev också glad förståss, för Star Trek är ett riktigt fint lack. Det är en mörk mörk blå jelly med silverglitter. Fantastiskt vackert! Dessutom har det en bra formula och täcker alldeles perfekt på två lager. Det är det jag har på bilderna.
De där små stjärnorna/blommorna/snöflingorna satte jag dit för att få en lite mer julig känsla. Jag tyckte det blev fint! Jag hade tänkt sätta en på varje nagel, men jag hade visst bara fyra silvriga sådana, så jag satte två på varje ringfinger istället.

Nu när ni läser detta kanske jag är hos farmor, om jag inte postar det på morgonen när jag lägger in texten. Jag sitter nämligen och skriver i ett textdokument just nu, för min mamma och låtsaspappa har stängt av internet. Därför förstörs hela min planering och jag måste skriva här och låta bli att stänga av datorn så jag kan blogga imorgon, vilket för er är idag, så fort jag vaknar. För sen ska jag åka till farmor!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Hello everybody! Today it's christmas eve (which is the day we celebrate christmas in Sweden!) and it's also blue monday (which is a theme day in the swedish nail blog world). It's blue christmas monday. It's my first blue monday. This is the nails I'm wearing today, so it's also the letter X, X like X-mas. Yep! This is Star Trek by Rimmel, with two tiny stars/flowers/snowflakes on the ringfingers.

I bought Star Trek at the swedish ebay, called Tradera, mostly because my boyfriend would be so happy. I was happy to, ofcourse, 'cause Star Trek is a really pretty polish. It's a dark dark blue jelly with silver glitter. Incredibly beautiful! It has a really good formula too, and covers in two coats. That's what I'm wearing on these pictures.
I put on the tiny stars/flowers/snowflakes just because I wanted it to feel more christmas-y. I think it looks pretty! I was going to put one on each nail, but I only had four in silver, so I just put them on the ringfingers instead.

When you are reading this I might be at my grandmothers place, if I don't post this in the morning when I copy-paste this text in a post. I am writing this in a notepad document right now, 'cause my mom and stepdad turned off the internet. So my plan is destroyed, and I need to write this here for now, and then I won't turn off the computer so I can post this tomorrow, which is today for you, as soon as I wake up. 'Cause then I'm going to my grandmother!
Anyway.

Waking Up In Vegas With Wicked Green Gradient

Mitt i julstöket. Här sitter jag. Mamma skäller på mig, för att jag inte plockat undan dillen och löken som jag använde till min vegetariska sill. Det får vänta en stund till, för nu ska jag minsann hinna med att blogga!

Idag visar jag W, och då tänkte jag visa Waking Up In Vegas från Deborah Lippmann. Och sen kom jag på att jag har Wicked Green från Gina Tricot också, så där blev det en gradient. Waking Up In Vegas With Wicked Green Gradient.

Waking Up In Vegas är ett smutsig grått krämlack. Det påminner om lervälling. Jag gillar det jättemycket! Det är dessutom en onecoater om man lägger på ett liiiite fylligare lager. Fantastiskt! Det är mitt första Deborah Lippmann lack, och jag önskar att jag hade alla fantastiska glitterlack.

Wicked Green är ett glitterlack som består utav grönt smått glitter i en klar bas. Varken mer eller mindre. Jag har målat gradienten två gånger för att få den såpass opak i tipparna.

Nu måste jag plocka undan den där dillen och löken. Och sen ska jag göra vegojansson, svamppaté, vegoskinka (av halloumi), vegobullar och cocktail korv!

Ikväll ska jag spela bingolotto, äta julgodis och ost. Det gör vi alltid såhär dan före doppardan. Det är den enda gången på hela året som vi spelar.

In the middle of prepairing for christmas. Here I am. My mom is yelling at me, 'cause I forgot to put the onion and dill away. I used it in my vegetarian herring! (We eat alot of herring around christmas in Sweden).
Well, that will have to wait, 'cause now I'll make some time to post this. 
Today I'll show you the letter W, so I thought that Waking Up In Vegas by Deborah Lippmann was a good polish. Then I realized that I had Wicked Green by Gina Tricot too, so I made a gradient. Waking Up In Vegas With Wicked Green Gradient.

Waking Up In Vegas is a dirty grey creme polish. It reminds me of mud. I like it alot! And it is a onecoater if you apply a liiittle bit richer coats. Wonderfull! It's my first Deborah Lippmann polish, and I wish that I owned all the amazing glitter polished.

Wicked Green is a glitter polish with tiny green glitter in a clear base. More or less. I've applied the gradient in two coats to get it this opaque at the tips.

Now I need to put away that onion and dill. And then I will make some vegetarian christmas food!
Tonight I will play bingo with my family, eat christmas candy and cheese. We allways do that the day before christmas (in Sweden we celebrate christmas on the 24th). That's the only time of the year that we play bingo.

Comparision: Gina Tricot Beauty "Ocean Depths" + Claudia "Ocean Deep"

Hallåååå! Här är jag! Vet ni vad? Jag är jättedålig på att blogga under veckorna. Jag är hemma vid 17 efter jobbet, och då ska man sätta sig en stund och ta det lugnt, sen ska man laga och äta mat, duscha, kanske städa lite, läsa andras bloggar, facebooka, och sen ska man sova. Jag hinner ingenting. Ofta hinner jag inte ens fixa mina naglar utan får gå med samma lack tills det ramlar av.

Nåväl. När jag skulle bestämma vad jag skulle ha som O-lack upptäckte jag att jag hade två lack som var väldigt lika varandra, och till min förvåning var namnen också lika. Därför bestämde jag mig för att göra en jämförelse och här har ni Ocean Depths från Gina Tricot Beauty och Ocean Deep från Claudia.

Vad finns det att säga. Jag kommer inte ihåg hur många lager jag bär, men jag tror det kan ha varit tre. Gina Tricot lacket Ocean Depths är blåare med mindre grönt skimmer och Claudia Ocean Deep är mindre blå med mycket mer grönt skimmer som gör att lacket också ser mörkare ut. Bådå är väldigt fina, men om jag måste välja så väljer jag Claudia. Dels för att det är finare och mer spännande och dels för att Gina Tricot testar på djur. Jag vet dock inte hur det är med Claudia. Vet ni något?

Hellooooo! I'm here! You know what? I'm really bad at bloging at the weeks. I get home after work at 5pm, and then it's time for some chillin' before I need to cook and eat, take a shower, maybe do some cleaning, read some blogs, facebook, and then it's time for sleep. I don't have time for anything. I don't even have time to change my polish sometimes, so I'll just wear the polish I have until it falls of.
Anyway. When I was deciding which polish to represent the letter O I found two polishes that were verry similar, and to my surprise, the name also was similar. So I decided that I should do a comparison and here we have Ocean Depths by Gina Tricot Beauty and Ocean Deep by Claudia.

What is there to say about these. I don't remember how many coats I'm wearing, but I think it's three. The Gina Tricot polish Ocean Depths is more blue and has less green shimmer and the Claudia polish Ocean Deep is less blue and has much more green shimmer which makes it look darker. Both is beautiful but if I have to choose one I would choose Claudia. Partly because it's more beautiful and exciting and partly because Gina Tricot tests on animals. I don't know if Claudia does though. Do you know anything about that?

Gina Tricot Beauty "Monaco Blue"

Hej sötisar! Ser ni att jag har en till grej på bloggen? Det där lilla märket i hörnet? Yep, det är nämligen så att jag är väldigt emot djurplågeri i alla former. Därför kommer jag i framtiden sätta det där lilla märket i hörnet för att visa vilka lack som man bör undvika, eftersom de testas på djur, och vilka man kan lägga sina pengar på, för att de inte gör det.
Visst är det sorgligt, Gina Tricot, som gör så bra och fina lack, som vi alla älskar, testar sina ingredienser på djur. Inte själva produkterna, bara ingredienserna. Hur vet jag det? Jo, min väns kusin är vegan och hon mailade och frågade. Hon fick inget svar. Till slut ställde hon frågan på Gina's facebook istället och fick svaret att ingredienserna testas på djur. Men inte produkterna. Nåja, jag äger några lack från Gina Tricot, och jag kommer använda dem, precis som jag kommer använda de andra lacken som har testats på djur, men jag kommer aldrig någonsin medvetet lägga pengar på att köpa dessa produkter.
Jag vill alltså klargöra att om jag äger ett lack som testats på djur så är det för att jag antingen köpt det utan att veta, eller fått det av någon.

Nog om det. Här har ni Monaco Blue från Gina Tricot Beauty över Pretrol, som också är från Gina Tricot.

Monaco Blue är en blå jelly med hexagonglitter i blått, grönt och lite större silvriga hexagoner. Det är fint, men ja, jag vet inte.


Hello cuties! Did you see the new thing on my blog? That little picture in the top right corner? Yep, that's because I am against all kinds of animal abuse. From now on I will put that little picture to show you which polishes to avoid because of animal cruelty or to buy. 
Isn't it sad that Gina Tricot has these amazing polishes and that they are tested on animals? Okay, the polish isn't tested, but the ingredients are. I got this information through a friend. Her cousin is a vegan and asked Gina Tricot if their products are cruelty free, and when she finally got the answere, she found out that they're not. Well, I got a few polishes by Gina Tricot which I will use just like the other not cruelty free polishes I own. But I want you to know that I would never spend money on a polish if I knew that it was tested on animals. 
I want to clear on that point, those polishes I've got that are tested on animals either was a gift to me or I've bought it without knowing that it was tested on animals. 

Enough about that. This is Monaco Blue by Gina Tricot Beauty over Petrol, also by Gina Tricot.
I've got two coats of Monaco Blue in these pictuest.
Monaco Blue is a blue jelly with hex glitter in blue, green and larger silver hex. It's pretty, but yeah, I don't know.
